I don't think I ever drove this far for a convention. When I mentioned to my friend, who is a huge fan, that Kamui Cosplay was coming to do a panel and judge the cosplay competition she was almost blowing up so we had no choice but to go. Luckily it was a tiny bit closer from the south of Belgium, but still 2.5 hours driving, single trip. I saw that there would be a One Piece fanbase so took Mihawk along for his first con!
I have to say, with the utmost respect, that this was the first con where the drive was longer than our visit. It was quite small and when we thought we'd do a quick tour of the con before the cosplay competition would start, we accidentally already saw everything. We even managed to do a second, more thorough tour before the competition started.
(I encountered something called ero-cosplay for the first time and well, it was a thing to say the least).
The competition itself was nice, but since Kamui Cosplay would do her panel 2 hours later, we already saw everything twice, had a 2.5 hour drive back and my friend got grumpy we decided to buy a good box of noodle (very tasty!) and call it a day.
My first, and probably my last, visit to LGX but I'm still happy I can add this experience to my list!
