Patsy - Monty Python And The Holy Grail

The Inspiration

Everybody who has seen Monty Python, or is from a certain generation, knows the iconic scenes with the coconuts. As a kid I saw Monty Python and even though I didn't fully understand everything, the little gimmicks like the coconuts, 'it's just a scratch!' and the sorcerer Tim stuck on me and I quoted them regularly with my dad. 

When I saw that sir John Cleese would be coming to Brussels Comiccon, I told my friend about it (who is a huuuge Monty Python fan) and we both decided in about half a second that we would cosplay King Arthur and Patsy. Because I have a love for details I decided to be Patsy so I could go crazy on small Easter eggs in the backpack!

Because this cosplan came about 3 weeks before the con, I wanted to make the costume as true to the film as possible: cheap, thrifted materials and primary school level crafting! This would be a budget cosplay as never before!
