Guardian Eatos - Yu-Gi-Oh!

The Inspiration

As a small kid, I liked Yu-Gi-Oh! quite a bit. My big brother collected the cards and sometimes watched it on tv (my mum found it too scary for us so it was rare). However, in high school, my best friend was a huge fan and she got me back into it. I watched a big part of the series and got the game on my Nintendo DS, and I remembered how awesome I found the designs of the monsters!

I got a weak spot for Guardian  Eatos, partly because Noah Kaiba was one of my favourite characters, partly because Eatos just looks so awesome. The huge bird headdress, the feathers, the face paint, the Native American vibes of her outfit... For school I had to do a drawing project and I decided to draw Eatos which got me a nice 8.5/10!

Recently I saw a reference to Guardian Eatos and I was thinking to myself that this would definitely make an awesome cosplay, especially with her Celestial Sword, so onto the cosplan list she went!
